Write to your Federal MP

In the lead-up to the federal election, both Labor and the Coalition made commitments to protect religious freedom. 

  • Labor committed to progressing a Religious Discrimination Bill, and promised not to make any changes unless it was supported by the Coalition – no deals with the Greens!

  • The Coalition gave strong support for religious freedom and faith-based organisations.

Now the election is finished and Parliament is going back, we need to remind them of these promises and tell them that we are watching!

The most powerful way of doing this is writing a short email, thanking them for their promises and saying you are looking forward to seeing them kept. A short, personal, positive, email is the most effective way of having your voice heard.
