Write to your MPs

Briefly introduce yourself. Say where you live and mention any connection you have with a local church, faith community or community organisation.

Say you are very concerned about the Greens’ “conversion practices” legislation. Explain your biggest personal concerns. You might include:

• A single conversation or prayer could be a “conversion practice”
• Parents, faith communities and consensual conversations are not properly protected
• A harmless conversation with a child could be defined as “child abuse”
• You could go to jail for a single conversation or prayer that doesn’t cause any harm.

Ask them to oppose the legislation, and protect parents, faith communities and consensual conversations and prayer.
