Congratulations on your recent election victory. I am writing to express my appreciation for the commitments that the Opposition has made to protect religious freedom. The dedication to safeguarding freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and protection from discrimination based on religious beliefs is vital for a harmonious society. Your commitment to ensuring religious organisations, including faith-based schools, have the right to employ staff aligned with their faith is commendable.

I am eager to see the Opposition fulfil these promises and hold the Government accountable to protect religious freedom in our country. Your leadership in this area is crucial, and I have confidence that you will advocate effectively for these essential rights. As you embark on this new parliamentary term, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and have a significant impact on the lives of many Australians.
